Can’t avoid triggers forever

Just a reminder to everyone who may have good weeks, and then suddenly relapse. One of the reasons this may happen to you is that you are constantly avoiding triggers, which is great for the first few weeks, but at some point you need to actively train your mind to react differently, so when those triggers do inevitably show up, you don’t find yourself relapsing, instead you know what to do and just move on with your life
solid advice brother. you could get so far in and think you're fine until you see a trigger and realise you haven't built up any actual mental fortitude
