Porn and self-acceptance

A lot of guys stumble across porn when they're young and then kinda keep watching/masturbating out of habit without really understand the reason why. It's also challenging these days since a lot of young men these days don't have strong masculine father figures to guide them. At first, it's likely just out of curiosity, but quickly, it starts to affect our mentality and other areas of our life like work and relationships. To really beat this demon, it's not necessarily enough to just "quit" but it also helps tremendously to understand why you're addicted to porn and rely on it. I think for me specifically.. I've always just wanted to be accepted by the women I watched, which in a way I believe is a lack of self-acceptance and self-love. By rejecting porn, I'm choosing to prioritize myself and hopefully find some peace and self-acceptance.
