When I get tempted to watch porn, I’m able to push it aside and do other things, but it then constantly stays in my head, and it makes me feel sick, like I’m about to throw up, then that feeling goes away when I relapse, how do I solve this?

Excellently put ^ everyone in here must learn to enjoy the pain of withdrawals as it’s a sign we are getting somewhere, as hard as it is

Another way to think about the porn addiction is like a fire. The fire is burning strong at first, but you deciding to quit porn is starving that fire of oxygen. Keep pushing and the fire will get weaker over time and eventually die out.

Its just porn withdrawals imo and I know they suck, but think about it like this: You have decided to quit porn, those withdrawals are just a little monster trying to get its fix, and the monster (not you) is being starved of its fix, so it’s throwing a tantrum. When you get those withdrawals, it’s a sign that the monster is dying. You should be happy! Because eventually the monster will die and you will experience life to the fullest. Remember that saying, “Pain is weakness leaving the body.” You did not decide to get addicted to porn, it’s just that porn is an addiction. Once you understand that porn is poison and you engrain it in your mind that it’s toxic, you will more easily deal with the withdrawals and you can make urges go away just as fast as they come. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook “The Easy Peasy Way to Quit Pornography” on Audible. It’s free and it will help you like it helped me, I promise.

Everytime when I get tempted to watch porn, I do 100 pushups. After that you feel great and dont even think about it anymore. This is what worked for me.
