Porn Isn’t the Enemy. You’re Just Not the One in Control.

I see too many of you out here treating this fight like it’s a holy war, like you’re broken sinners crawling through hell for watching porn. And I get it — I’ve been there. But let me give it to you straight: You don’t win this fight through guilt. You win it through honesty. First, admit it: You love it. Period. Stop lying to yourself. Stop pretending like it’s just temptation sneaking up on you. Right now — it’s a part of you that wants it. Own that part. Understand it. Good. Now ask yourself: What’s the price? What did you sacrifice for that quick relief? Your time. Your presence. Your drive. Your edge. Then ask: why? Why do you turn to it? Is it boredom? Loneliness? Stress? Dopamine drought? Track it. You’ll see the moments where the relapse starts way before the screen turns on. And when you see it, it hurts. Yeah. Because truth burns. Don’t mess around with me, just agree on this: You are not disgusting. You are not hopeless. You are not alone. You are a human with a powerful mind that’s being hijacked sometimes. You can take the wheel back — not by shame, but by awareness. This ain’t religion. This ain’t a trench war. This is a crossroads. Between illusion and life. So get up. No whining. Less “day one” posts. Just breathe and move straight forward.

You are correct yes,,, but it is definitely a holy war. There are reasons you watch it and you made great points to be self aware and have self control in yourself. But the devil urges all of us to fall into lust and be further from God. The only way to our salvation is through the Lord, and pornography separates us from that reward.

I feel you, brother. For some, this is spiritual. For others, it’s psychological. But either way we’re all in the same boat, facing the same current. Some see demons. Some see neural pathways. But one thing’s true for all of us: the more energy you give to it, the more power it holds over you. Whether you’re praying or rewiring your brain, the principle is the same — you don’t win this battle by fighting it head-on every second. You win by stepping out of the arena. By not feeding the fire. If imagining it, for example, as a demon helps you stay disciplined, then cool! Walk with that image. But don’t fall into the trap of giving that demon too much credit. This isn’t about them. It’s about you. Your mind. Your choices. Your control. Some guys out here are winning without a single spiritual concept. Some are winning through prayer. Same result. Different language. Same self-respect. Stay strong!

This is a spiritual battle as well…
