1 Day sober

I’ve noticed a lot of people joining this app and to everyone doing so you are not alone. I’ve had this app for a little bit and have relapsed a couple times. My Ex broke up with me and when that happened it hurt and I relapsed again. But joining this app has helped me realize that even though everyone is behind a screen you still have people here fighting the same fight with you. No one is judging because we’re all going through the same thing. Being completely sober is about how badly you want it. And over the past couple days after my break up I’ve started to just realize that God has a plan for me and that if he wants it in your life he will. Learning to trust yourself and tell yourself everyday “I’m not going to do it. I can do another day without ruining my streak” is all you need my friends. If anyone here needs reassurance on anything. I want you all to know you are okay. Everything you are doing just by being on this app makes it okay. You’re not in this alone. Keep fighting the fight my friends. Pretty soon we will be men who have a mind to think with.
