Recognizing the trigger before being triggered

I’ve been at this journey for a while now. One thing I’ve learned is that I can feel when an action I’m about to do is going to trigger me. For example I like to go sit on my couch alone before heading to bed and sometime that lead to me acting out. Last night I wasn’t feeling tempted to do anything but could feel the underlying urge that would have come to the surface if I would have gone to the couch before bed last night. I didn’t end up sitting down and just went to bed. Tomorrow will be day 3. LFG.
