Im addicted to porn and I need help

Believe it or not, you already have the power to stop. The problem is that the porn addiction of the mind manipulates your thoughts to trick you into thinking you want to watch porn, even though you have already decided that you quit. Those withdrawals and urges you get are just the dopamine deprived mind wanting its fix because it has TEMPORARILY become desensitized to natural stimuli. My addiction length is similar to yours, about 17 years. But I have just gotten to the point where I am so sick of going on porn binges and feeling depressed, unmotivated, tired, etc. You have to really weigh the effects of it to understand the situation. One book that really helped me was “The Easy Peasy Way to Quit Pornography.” It’s on Audible and it’s 100% free. I promise it will help you undo the brainwashing that porn has done to your mind because it is helping me. This is a battle in the mind. Fight the addiction with truth. And definitely good to keep reading your Bible and asking God to help you get out of it. I can remember multiple times where I ended up in the hole with my porn addiction, and I started having to sincerely ask God for help. God will pull through for you. You just have to keep faith and believe that he will pull through. In our lives since we are sinners it’s hard to see him working sometimes, but he is working even when you don’t see instant results.

Think of a funny memory with your friends. Better yet, go to sleep 😴 Its all a mind game. It wont consume if you acknowledge that its all mental. Go to the home page and click meditate.
