Pretty crazy. I remember masturbating everyday. Some lessons 1. Fasting is a cheat sheet to discipline, when youre hungry - you dont have energy to jerk off. Getting on a keto diet and doing an intermediate fast made is 10X easier to quit 2. Quitting is 80% mindset - telling yourself you cant means you cant. Telling yourself its hard means its hard. Start with your thoughts. Most likely youre sabotaging yourself and youve failed before youve even started. Journaling saved me, journal everything, track every urge and I mean EVERY URGE. either keep a journal next to you at all times or download an e/journal. 3. Mediation does change the mind. You should be meditating at least 10 minutes a day. 4. Supplements- NAC supports dopamine glutamate balance, helps break free of urges, FAEW - reduces glutamate and reduces urges. These are the two supplements you should be taking twice a day. 5. Delete social media. There is no “chsnging the algorithm”. Its designed to make you fail. Dont lie to yourselfs. I did everything but in tbe end had to delete it. You cant get on insta without seeing some half naked girl every other day. Good luck to all.
