If I could get some Biblical help here

Corinthians 1: 10-13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful, he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out

Also, over several years I’ve been noting verses that basically say, “YOU DON’T HAVE TO SIN” (like 2 Pet 1:3a: “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life…”) I’ve collected OVER 600 verses (so far). One other thing I would recommend is to continue to walk closely to Jesus and when you fall to know that you can get up because God is ready to forgive. Allow the grace of God to move you and transform you my man. In your relationship and in your life. “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NIV‬

Joe I admire your bravery, vulnerability, and humility man. Here’s three scriptures that help me in my fight against lust and impurity. And they’re from lives of those in the Bible that we can learn from. I recommend you read them on your own. 1st person: Cain “You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ • Lust’s and sin’s general aim and purpose is to conquer you and I. We have to make a conscious decisions throughout the day to not allow it to overcome us my friend. 2nd Person: Esau “Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal. You know that afterward, when he wanted his father’s blessing, he was rejected. It was too late for repentance, even though he begged with bitter tears.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ NLT •Esau desire was misplaced. He settled for short term gratification instead of long term gratification and that cost him in the long run. If we don’t aim to include God in this battle of lust and allow our minds to see it for what it truly is we will forfeit many things in our lives including our eternal inheritance. 3rd Person: Joseph “She came and grabbed him by his cloak, demanding, “Come on, sleep with me!” Joseph tore himself away, but he left his cloak in her hand as he ran from the house.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭39‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT RUN my friend! You and I are not stronger than sin on our own. Don’t fight but RUN! Go take a walk, put your phone in another room, change up your environment, get accountability partners. All in all rely on God and learn from the lives you read about in the Bible. You got this my friend. May God give you and I and everyone who reads this strength to eliminate this thing!
