Can’t get past three days
It’s really bad. Doing one day is easy, two days is usually a breeze too, but the third day becomes too hard. How do I beat it?

Very good advice Sean. I was stuck in this 3 day loop myself and its honestly the triggers. I overlooked the impact social media can have on this particular addiction. Doomscrolling, coming by a post related to the addiction. It all leads to the same ending that we all hate. But in this day and age its hard not to want to be tapped in. And its unfortunate this addiction and things related to it are exploited the most so youre more than likely to run into some suggestive content. You just have to realize the battle you’re in. This stuff is everywhere and it will continue to be. Its on us to become resilient to it. As hard as it is. And I know its hard. One of the hardest things you can do for yourself as a man. But its also one of the most rewarding.
Good stuff man! It’s like giving up food on a full stomach, it’s easy for a while because you have satisfied the craving. Then as the satisfaction wares off and you become hungry again it gets harder to resist the temptation. Same principle here only you’re not going to starve! You won’t die if you don’t watch porn or masturbate or whatever your preference is. What I’d do is honestly talk with yourself and see if you really want to stop, if you don’t really want it, it’s not going to happen, because this ain’t easy. Next I would look at what’s triggers you in your environment, do you have porn on your computer (if so get rid of it) is social media triggering you? (If so deactivate your accounts) etc. This will give you the best chance at recovery. It’s honestly a learning curve and I’ve had more failed attempts than hot dinners! 😂 keep going no matter what and you will make it
Thanks G! 🙏 I’m finally making sense after all these years!! Great self awareness from you too man, sexual content is EVERYWHERE! Advertising agents realised this in the 70’s and it’s only been getting worse since.
