Hardships - James 1:2-4
James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Only through trial and tribulation does a man prosper. This journey opens up many doors to growth and healing and that blessings is often presented in hardship. The devil will try everything in his power to get you off this path and away from God, one thing I like to remember is if you are not suffering you are doing something wrong. If you are comfortable it’s because the devil has you right where he wants you. Put God first over all that you do, remember that trials and temptations are not blockages in your journey but rather stepping stones to use and become the man God has you attended to be. Mindfulness and faith is key to success in this journey and it comes with time, when you fall learn from the experience instead of letting it beat you up. The shame and guilt after falling is simply another temptation from the devil to keep you distant from God and repentance. This path is difficult but man is it a blessing just to simply have to opportunity to walk it. God bless brothers and sisters.
