I think that everyone can relate to to the terrible feeling after slipping into temptation after a long streak. But I think it is even worse when you fall again… and again… That’s where I’m at right now. It is taking everything in me not to despair. But I have to remind myself: Jesus died for this sin too. Jesus Christ bore your sin too. He knew that you would fall into temptation again, but He died for you anyway. So anyways, thinking about what went wrong—I was bored. Long school breaks with no work and no schoolwork can be really difficult. I had been reading some theology books all day, but I ended it by going on Instagram and Facebook on my Laptop and scrolling for a while. Then the thought hit me, “Well, I fell yesterday—one more time isn’t going to hurt.” I’m aggravated that I fell the night before church—I hate going to church with a dirty conscience. Something I’m thinking about doing is giving myself a checklist for each day of break with tasks that I should do! That way, I’m still staying busy and not viewing my whole day as “leisurely” with nothing to do! Do y’all have any thoughts/advice on things to do during long breaks with not much to do, other than just scrolling on Facebook and Instagram 😅. We got this!!!!!

The way you phrased Jesus dying for ALL of our sins really moved me. Ive never thought of it like that. Thank you for sharing brother. The next time you feel an urge, please make another post and I will reply. The next time you feel an urge, remind yourself : this negative energy that I feel is just energy. Energy can only be transferred not destroyed. Do not fight the urge , but transfer the energy of the sexual urge towards something else such as reading , or going for a walk, or exercising.
