This happened to me i break this for 6days so my brother an advise for me is to block Facebook and Instagram and x please jumb into WhatsApp and chat your friends there even telegram is corrupt block it and leave and tiktok for your self promises myself 30days

Thanks for all the advices! I’ll definitely try personalizing my feed by indicating that I’m not interested in the content that leads me to relapse. Let’s see if that works.

If you really think about it, insta, facebook and Snapchat are the three apps easiest to communicate with friends and remove bad content if you want to. It’s your choice ❤️‍🔥

I don’t go on x, it’s generally a disgusting app in general.

Hold the post and click uninterested and block each lustful post. It will correct itself eventually. Social media isn’t the problem. The problem is the desire. Don’t punish your friendships because you can’t control your lust. Lean on someone or something greater. For me that is the Bible and God.

I personally have deleted all social media apps but go through the browser to respond to my messages. It makes the experience very buggy + my feed doesn’t have any explicit content (personally). You could try indicating that you’re not interested in that sort of content so that the algorithm pushes other things on the front. Since I personally want to quit social media just as much as porn, I don’t know if I am helping you much.

I don’t believe you need to ditch Social Media, but X is riddled with porn. I immediately deleted it.

You don’t have to ditch social media altogether, I ran into the same issue. I’ve figured out that if I set limits on all social media apps to about 15 minutes each, that’s enough time to interact with friends. However it leaves no room for scrolling. Hopefully you are using an apple device because I’m not sure if the same service is offered on android. Don’t get me wrong I miss it but I am more productive because of it. Give it some consideration it might help
