If yall could list ways this app has helped you quit because I still feel stuck

This may not work for everyone but for me, the main issue was not masturbating but porn itself - if I was going to relapse I wouldn’t use porn. I think it’s perfectly normal to have the urge to masturbate unless you are in a close relationship; there’s nothing normal about the instant gratification porn gives us. It creates unrealistic expectations in our head, causes erectile dysfunction in young adults and a range of other side effects this app warns us about. I’ve been trying this for a while and it seems to be working :)

The app helps me because I am very competitive so when I see the streak, I want to increase it. The articles also help a lot.

Every time I’m tempted I press the panic button and look at articles that pop up after, really helps me ground myself

Only on four days, so definitely still a work in progress lol. But far, it’s helped me cause when I feel tempted I open the app. Also, just seeing the streak keeps me motivated to keep it unlike in the past when I wouldn’t keep track

I like checking in and having a streak counter. It makes me want to hold myself more accountable when I can see the progress.
