focus on the long term, the person you’ll be without the weight of this on your mind and the improvement it’ll have on the quality of your relationships . If and when you relapse, dont be so hard on yourself. If youre making progress, relapses should occur less and less frequently until you no longer have temptation and can consciously choose to not view porn. Who’s in control? You or your mind? Are you a slave to your habits? Its not gonna happen over night , good luck friend

I hope this helps… Not everyone is Christian, but I found my refuge in God. Rather than relying on porn or the cheap pleasures of life, I rely on God—He has become my purpose. A natural man is an enemy to God and becoming victim to the carnal desires is exactly what a natural man is. I can’t do that. I can’t betray God again. But for those who are struggling and relapsing over and over, just know God will always be there to help you through it. He will always love you. Cast all of your anxieties on Him, for He careth for you.

Out of sight out of mind. Anything that you know gives you urges to do it, remove them. Some may not apply but think about your personal situation. Examples for me: • Block sites through settings on your phone • Block Instagram etc accounts that you know don’t serve you good and you shouldn’t be watching •if you feel u need to, temporarily remove social media apps and such. • No lotion or any other resources you use to masturbate easily accessible past a certain hour or at all • Phone across the room when you sleep • certain movies or shows that could give urges • Also keep yourself busy and distracted with people or social settings, new hobbies, quality time with whomever, etc. You aren’t alone in the journey and it isn’t easy so give yourself a helping hand wherever you can.

Hey what’s up, im coming up on 10 days, it’s my longest time I’ve not masturbated in the last 8 years. The first 5 days were hell but on day 6 I realized I had a better ability to say NO to urges. It takes time but the further you get away the smaller it gets
