Battle Buddies: Day 31
Last night after my last post I decided to find a new show to watch and I ended up seeing a sex scene. At first it was like the last time were I wasn't affected by the scene but then later that night I started thinking of the women in the scene and the temptation started rushing through my body. I knew it the devil trying so hard to bring me back down. But this was so bad that I came so close to relapsing multiple times through out the night. I didn't fall asleep until I think 1 am because of it and this morning was no different I started to feel pain in my lower area and head. God has given me the straight to continue this journey though the devil will not let up especially when I'm at my most valuable. This is probably because of finals coming up along with graduation. Either way I decided that any tv show or movie that I’m watching by myself says “this movie contains sexual content” ill be skipping from now on. I thought I was over it clearly I'm not. I'm getting real tired of my nights and mornings being like this. I really just want to sleep. I pray to the Lord that I have the strength to get to that point. Battle Buddies Robert, Cameron, and Jan: The battle keeps getting harder and sometimes it can hit you like a freight train but we can still get back up and win this war. I still believe we can all succeed. For it is written “If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” Ecclesiastes 4:10 NIV. I'm always there for you brothers. As well as praying for you all as well. Battle Buddies Mikayla and Kathryn: I do apologize I didn't know more have joined our small group. Its starting to get hard to keep track of everyone. But its very welcome surprise. The more the merrier. Like everyone that has downloaded this app you are already ahead of a lot of people in this world by taking that first step to kicking this temptation and I have no doubt that someday you will get past day 90 mark. I believe in you and so does the Lord.
The best thing to do is when that happens try to turn off the TV and go to sleep or if it’s in the middle of the day go work out or drink some water or just go on a walk. Try to do something that can help you in the middle of that
