Tips for the Mountain hike
- eliminate all content or triggers from your environment; your "adversary" is a formiddable one because it is your own body. if you grasp this, eliminate any nerfs you might have. it is those that will chip away at your resolve. - by the same reasoning, if you have a wet dream, immediately get out of bed and go outside (I am even thinking of smtg extreme like hurting my groin a bit so I eliminate the itch); because those mornings are the worst. - if you must relapse, remember to check in with the community; maybe you'll receive a nugget of info; if you must fail, do it without vizual aid. keep it short, in the shower etc. but remember, you'll be throwing away a good streak(!) - eat lighter. hormones boil less with veggie intake. i found that meat & dairy are very hard on my body when it comes to this. - it won't always be like this. it gets easier after the first two weeks. however, be mindful of the hand that slips in your pants while you sit at the desk carelessly. apply conscious thought. - resist with this 8 weeks or so. that's how long it will take for dopamine pathways to reset. (more so, if You used it for 20 years..) but afterwards odds are you're in the clear and you've observed some really cool benefits for the state of mind and how much life you have in you with all the CHI intact. after that, all that remains is to be vigilent so you don't slip. - pray for Jezus so that he helps 1000 others in your position.
