Day 140
To make it this far is quite the feat ngl but it wasn’t because of my own strength, but because of Jesus Christ. Many of you probably heard of him before and what he did for the world but, most people just treat it as something normal or just completely brush it under the math. John 3:16-17 NLT says, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” Most people don’t see the power and truth in this verse but Jesus literally humbled himself and gave up his divine privileges, was born a human being, faced the same temptations and difficulties we face in our lives yet, he did not sin and lived a perfect life and died on the cross for each and every single person who is here on this earth. What does this mean? The sins that people commit such as murder, stealing, lust, greed, homosexuality and every other kind of sin you can think of, was literally beaten on that cross. The same day that Jesus Christ gave his life for us. And by putting our faith in him we are made right by God and are freed from these sins which hold us in bondage. By just faith alone God says we are made right in his sight and will have eternal life. I said all that to bring this to your attention. The addiction you are fighting? You cannot win against it with your own strength. You feel as if it’s impossible to overcome and that your sin is your identity? Lies from the devil. There isn’t one person in this world that Jesus can’t save. If only you would allow God to truly come into your life and allow him to truly transform you for my the inside out, will you truly see that he can set you free from your sins and experience the true purpose and meaning that he gave you in this world. God loves you and he wants a relationship with you. He wants to see you in heaven and not only that, he wants to set you free from sin and to see you live the in the true purpose and value he created you for. To love him, to live for him, and to love others. I hope this helps someone. God bless.❤️🙏🏽
Amen
