Battle Buddies: Day 15

“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ You are not unworthy. You are not done with. This battle isn’t over. God will continue to work in you, but you have to let Him. Day 0 or day 100, it doesn’t make a difference in how much He loves you and wants to see you draw near. You may feel like there is no one in your court but God absolutely is and He wants to see you prevail over this sin. “Father all the glory and praise to you for helping me take the first step to cleanse me of this sin. Lord please forgive me of my lusts and unrighteous desires. Search out my heart and mind, God. Break me of my weaknesses that burden my soul. Father help me to be righteous once again in your eyes, to blot out my iniquities. I love you my mighty God. Amen.” There were stumbling blocks today, I redownloaded FB so I could check market place and the first post I saw was an absolute thirst trap. The Lord kept me strong and after I was done I redeleted the app. It was a wake up call that I am still not fully healed but it also gave me a deep appreciation for our Father because in the past something like that would have sent me off the rails mentally. He is doing a true work in me and I can see He is doing a work on the people in this community as well. My brother in Christ, Matthew: The Lord is making your more wise day by day. He is equipping you and shining the light on the darkness that seeks to pull you back. I pray you continue to walk as a child of light, that one day you can lead others out of this terrible sexual immorality so that they too can see the glory of God on the other side. Your faith will show you so much and this is just the start! I love you, brother! You’re going to destroy the enemy tomorrow morning 💪🏼
