Seek the Lord in the middle of the storm not after

“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Walk with the Holy Spirit Bothers, and when doing so in any storms we may go through for many of us it’s temptation. In the storms we have, we must cut off all access to the sin and run to the Lord. Many of us end up running to the Lord after the storm and repent for forgiveness, I myself am guilty of it. There is so much more victory when we can seek the Lord in the middle of our storms.

For Joshua “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I don’t know if God will completely deliver you from lust, but within that He always offers a way out. It’s not to shame or condemn us, it’s to strengthen us within the Lord. Helps us to realize and understand how much we truly need to lean and relay upon the Lord. Just as the very moment Peter took his eyes off of Jesus, he back into the water. Brothers, always keep your eyes and heart on the Lord. Amen

The second I catch myself within temptation, let’s say it’s seeing a pretty lady in the internet. I catch myself even giving myself a “little permission” to indulge within that I separate myself from it and pray to the Lord. “Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me.” Another example I deal with and I’m sure many of us do, is seeing a woman in public that’s dressed “questionably.” It’s not our fault for glancing (like we have to look around) it’s whether if you entertain the idea or immediately cut it off. Not with your own strength by instead with the Lords strength. Remember every woman we see is a daughter of the Holy Father just as we are His sons. Treat that with the upmost respect.
