What if?

What if you had a 100 day streak? Would you break that for a temptation? Probably not. But breaking a 1 day streak is much easier. Why? Because we view the streak incorrectly. Any reason to not watch pornography is a good one, but it is easy to fall into the trap of 1-2 day streaks because you know your streak “isnt worth much” or because it just isnt very long. To you, (i am included in this) I would say that you are worth more than a streak. Your conscious decision to abstain must come every day, regardless of if your streak is ten or even ten thousand days. Breaking free from the grips of lust is not simply a streak, it is a healing process. Forgiveness for lust and all others sins if found in Jesus Christ and His atoning crucifixion for all who believe in Him.
