Guard your eyes

Time and time again I’ve noticed that I don’t start getting tempted to fall back into this cycle until I either see something that reminds me of times I’ve had sex in the past. Once that happens memories and feeling flood my mind and I have to go into prayer automatically asking the Lord to strengthen me and to continue wring out the sinful and immoral thoughts in my head. The Lord always comes through and I’m so grateful for that, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” This is so encouraging to me because it reinforces that I’m not the only one dealing with this and that the Lord will always provide a way for us to defeat the temptations we’re battling, we just have to call out to him and submit to his way. Keep on striving for growth!
