How often do u do it to be considered an addict

I was doing it once or twice a day daily or every other day. Not only was I not able to finish after having sex with my wife, my ejaculation was also weak

I think it becomes an addiction when it consumes your mind and time. I’ve been watching porn since I was around 8 and it’s only gotten worse as time goes on. What started as 30-45 minutes has turned to hours for me. It’s progressed to the point where I’ve watched it casually just to save videos for later. I think at that point it becomes an addiction.

To elaborate on that, I forgot to mention the most significant aspect: when I don’t do it, I experience severe anxiety. I need it. I get the shakes, and that’s how I know I’m addicted.

While I’m not addicted to porn on its self, I do believe I’m addicted to masturbation. I don’t crave watching porn but I do crave the dopamine hit from doing the deed. But in the past have masturbated up to 20 times throughout the day everyday. Sometimes I could have just done it and boom I was doing it again. I mean my hand would cramp it was that bad. I definitely would say I have an addiction. I’ve managed to cut down only to 2-3 times per day but I want to all together stop or at least once a week.

Either way you shouldn’t be watching porn at all . It is damaging no matter when or how often you watch it

I think it’s less about the amount of times, but more about the control it has over your own sense of will.

I was wondering the same. I don’t think I ever had a porn addiction but I definitely had a masturbation addiction.
